Inaugural installation of the ShipDocs system on the Horyzont II ship

In February 2024, as a result of the cooperation between Maritime University of Gdynia and Transition Technologies-Software Sp. z o. o., the first inaugural implementation of the ShipDocs system took place on board of the Horyzont II ship.

Our highly qualified experts completed this task just with one visit on the board of the ship. All application modules have been made available for testing, with particular emphasis on the port and customs documentation module (Port docs). Before installation, as many document templates as possible were prepared for the ports that Horyzont II ship will visit (including Spitsbergen, Skagen, Hornsund, Bellsund, Longyearbyen, NY-Alesund). After completing the system configuration, our specialists conducted training for a dedicated team of administrators. The training participants received the necessary authorizations and were familiarized with the system configuration, which allowed them to become acquainted with the available licenses and enter key data into the application. In addition, all available application modules were discussed and the first tests were taken to ensure smooth integration and operation of the system on the ship.

The first feedback received from the ship’s crew was that using the application was extremely simple and intuitive. Thanks to further tests in real conditions, as well as the commitment and professionalism of our specialists, we are able to further improve and optimize our solutions.
