ShipDocs Fleet - training for the Shipowner's Department and Maritime Practices

In March 2024, a training on the use of our innovative application for the shipowner’s office – ShipDocs Fleet was held for dedicated users from the Shipowner’s Department and Maritime Practices, conducted by our highly qualified experts from TTSW.

The training was held remotely, and its aim was to introduce users to the effective use of new tools for managing data from ship decks and secure crew communication.

ShipDocs Ship and ShipDocs Fleet applications have been created to provide the highest level of security and efficiency in ship data management. ShipDocs Fleet is responsible for receiving data directly from applications installed on ships, which allows shipowners’ offices to monitor and analyze information on an ongoing basis. One of the key elements of our solution is sending the crew list through an encrypted communication channel. By doing so, we ensure that all personal and operational data is protected from unauthorized access, which is extremely important these days, where cybersecurity plays a crucial role. It is worth noting that the application runs on servers provided by TTSW in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode, which means that access to it takes place via the web, without the need to install it at the customer’s site.

During the training, participants were introduced to the secrets of using two basic modules: Crew and Reporting. The Crew module allows to manage crew data, such as contract data, personal documents, health, certificates or courses. Thanks to it, shipowners’ offices can easily and transparently control all aspects related to human resources management on ships. The Reporting module, on the other hand, allows you to create daily operational reports. Thanks to it, the management can monitor the ship’s performance on an ongoing basis, analyze operational indicators and make informed decisions based on reliable and up-to-date information.

Despite the physical distancing, the training went smoothly and effectively, thanks to interactive presentations and Q&A sessions that allowed participants to ask questions and dispel any doubts on the fly.

We are currently working intensively on providing further modules of our applications, which will further improve the daily work of shipowners’ offices. We anticipate the introduction of solutions such as fuel efficiency analysis and advanced crew planning, based on artificial intelligence.

By systematically expanding the functionality of our applications, we want to provide our customers with a comprehensive fleet management tool that will meet all their operational and strategic needs.
